FCCLA or Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is a national organization for middle and high school students in Family and Consumer Sciences classes. FCCLA is the only student organization with family as its focus. Since 1945, FCCLA members have been making a difference in their families, careers, and communities by addressing important personal, work, and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences education.

To promote personal growth and leadership development through family and consumer sciences education. Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner, and community leader, members develop skills for life through Character Development, Creative & Critical Thinking, Interpersonal Communication, Practical Knowledge & Career Preparation.

Adopt-a-Grandparent is a service project that gives high school students the opportunity to grow a connection with the residents from The Lodge Rehabilitation Center. The officers and advisor of FCCLA wrote letters to different residents at The Lodge. They wrote letters for Thanksgiving, Christmas/Holidays, New Years, Valentines and eventually a letter for the month of March.
